Let the Children Play

[*NOTE: In no way, shape or form do I endorse or play any of these games*]
Ok, here goes. (In case you haven't noticed, that's my new intro) Since the Atari 2600 baby games have existed. I mean, there've been games about Barbie, Barney, Elmo, and Strawberry Shortcake. Sure these games don't meet the standards of games like Super Smash Melee and Metroid Prime. But, why does everyone have to criticize them? Every month EGM runs a column written by Seanbaby. The column is about crappy games, and yes most of them are pretty crappy. Half the time though these games have some relation to Barbie. Now, Seanbaby is probably well into his twenties or older. Barbie games are meant for 7 year old girls, not mid age men. So sure these games aren't good; but people need to lay off. The real injustice is that we put these games out for children to play. So, gamers, next time you feel the urge to laugh at a 6 year old playing a Peter Pan game, control yourself, ok?
