Like Kid Kool, All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros. is an odd game.
Released in Japan shortly after the original Super Mario Bros., this game is weird, strange, and fun.

Double Dragon
Double Dragon is one of the best fighting games made for the NES and the Arcade. I recommend this game to any fighting/side scrolling fans or just NES fans even. This is the first Double Dragon of the series and my personal favorite.
