Game reviews from the classic NES Nintendo Entertainment System.
Based on the 1st version, its prequel, comes the 2nd instalment with basically the same story line with the challenge lowered down a bit and improved graphics with the main character, Master Higgins at it again saving the girl. It’s a 2d platformer like many NES games are where you have to time your jumps and all just like Mario and Mega Man.
A fun, solid RPG, if not the most original one around.
A fairly decent (pirated) game that let’s you pit two Nintendo characters against each other.
I found Rally Bike at a garage sale. I thought this game was probably just some mediocre NES game, that was quickly made. Maybe it was quickly made, but it’s not a mediocre NES game.
The first football game for the NES and certainly not the greatest.
WOOHOO! Mega Man’s fourth adventure, and my personal favorite.
Mega Man’s third adventure. Let’s see how it goes…
Here it is, the one that started it all! Join Mega Man in his very first adventure, on the one, the only, Nintendo Entertainment System. Help him take out 6 evil robots, created by Dr. Wily to destroy Mega Man.
Mega Man’s fifth journey, and a great one at that.
Wily’s Back! and this time he has created even more sinister robots to mount his attack against Mega Man. Each of the eight empires is ruled by a different robot master. Defeat each one, build up your arsenal of weapons, and take on the evil Dr. Wily himself!
The bases are loaded, you’re winning by one strike, 2 balls, the game is in your hand…
Punch Out!!, a title anyone can enjoy. It is definitely one of the greatest boxing games for the NES. Punch Out!! is somewhat like the hit movie series Rocky, only a video game.
Lolo is an extraordinary puzzle game for the NES. It was THE puzzle game to have. If you wanted to solve complex puzzles, then this was THE NES game for it. It wasn’t a quick puzzle game, such as Tetris or Dr. Mario, but an incredible thinking game.
Rampart was a great little game for the NES. It wasn’t very well known, but it was still a great and unique game. It’s gameplay style hasn’t been copied. That makes this a very fun and unique game to play.
Super Mario Bros. was the starting point of the greatest video game system ever built. It was the game that made Mario an icon. It started the whole side scrolling action game genre. With its basic design and extraordinary game play this game has become a legend.
