Chapter 1
The inventor and the problem
|
King Boo paced back and forth around the room knowing that
Luigi would attack soon. He knew this because he kidnapped his
brother Mario…once again. “Your majesty!” cried a little boo named
Blue boo. “What is it nephew?” King Boo mumbled. “Can I go bother
another person?” He asked. No…” King Boo said. “Oh…please sire!”
He cried. “I said no, nephew…” King Boo said again. “Oh please!”
He cried. “No!!! Stop It! I’ll let you bother another person
later! Someone I have known to get my revenge upon for a long
time…” King Boo said. “Anyway how’s Elvin doing?” King Boo asked.
“Well…um let me put it this way…He’s not making inventions to
murder the Mario Brothers!” He cried. “Nephew, nephew nephew… I
don’t want to murder the Mario Brothers I just want to start my
HAG.” King Boo explained. “HAG?” King Boo’s nephew asked. “Hero
Art Gallery.” King Boo said. “I already have a nice new Mario one
now all I need is a nice, new Luigi one.”
“Hello…You’re Majesty Get a grip! Elvin’s making inventions to
capture us!” He cried. King Boo grabbed him. “Good Grip.” He said,
Horsley.” I will settle this just for you.” King Boo said as the
ghost stomped angrily up the stairs. Meanwhile… “Why did I have to
become an inventor why couldn’t I become a teacher or a
librarian?” The professor said to himself. Suddenly he heard a
knock on the door. “Oh, Elvin!” King Boo cried banging on the
door. “Oh no! It’s King Boo! I’ve gotta hide!” Elvin cried
nervously as he picked up his invention and hid it somewhere.
“Elvin open this door now!” King Boo cried frustrated. “Uh… I’m
coming!” he cried as he grabbed the poltergust 3000 and rushed for
the door. He opened it. “Hi…” the professor said nervously. “What
have you been doing here Elvin?” King Boo asked him. “Nothing just
doing my normal things…you know making inventions.” He said. The
professor sounded even more nervous. “Oh, really…well I heard from
my nephew that you weren’t making any inventions!” King Boo cried.
“I’m busted!” the professor said to himself. So…it is true you
aren’t making inventions like I ordered you to.” King Boo said.
“Well…I um…” the professor said even more nervously…in fact he was
shaking all over. “ Okay! I admit it I wasn’t making inventions
like I was supposed to!” he cried. “I don’t follow orders from
ghosts!” the Professor cried angrily. “Very well then...get him
boys!” King Boo cried. “Well…if you put it that way…” Elvin said
showing the Poltergust 3000 to the ghosts. “Ahh! He’s got that
vacuum thingy!” one of the boo’s cried. “So…it’s not like it’s
going to hurt you!” King Boo said. The boos just stared at him.
“Never mind I’ll get him myself.” King Boo mumbled. The professor
backed up and turned on the Poltergust 3000. King Boo waved his
arms to break free and he finally did so. “You will never insure
me with that device again!” King Boo cried as he disappeared.
“Well…I’m glad that’s over.” He said. |

Chapter 2
And the grand prize is…
|
| Luigi was walking in the forest. “Mama Mia! What’s this!?”
Luigi asked himself as he picked up a red hat with an M on it.
“Mario’s hat! He never goes anywhere without his hat!” Luigi said.
Luigi was even more nervous than before. He had been in this
mansion before but it was filled with ghosts even more than
before. He opened his letter he received in the mail. That said:
Mushroom Kingdom Prize Patrol. He opened it up. The letter had a
map in it showing the path to the Mansion. “The funny thing is I
didn’t even enter a contest.” Luigi said to himself. “Oh, well.”
He said as he put the letter back in the envelope. Luigi walked
slowly to the mansion and started walking up the stairs very
slowly. Crows crowed at the moon. Luigi opened the door with a
loud creek. “Hello?” he asked nervously as he turned on the
flashlight. The door to the entrance closed with a loud BANG!
Luigi started to look around. Luigi walked slowly to the middle
door in the foyer he turned the knob…nothing. He went back down
the stairs. Then he saw something…it had a key in its hand he
couldn’t make out what the mysterious figure was. The figure
dropped the key on the floor under the chandelier. Then it floated
up the stairs blowing out every candle in its path and disappeared
into the middle door Luigi tried opening before. Luigi went and
grabbed the key. “Well at least I found the key to middle door.”
Luigi said. Luigi went up the stairs to the middle door. Luigi put
the key into the knob. Luigi very nervous at this point, reached
for the door knob. His hand was shivering. He put his hand on the
door and turned the knob. Luigi was ready for what was going to
happen next... |

Chapter 3
The Big Surprise
|
Luigi tip toed across the parlor floor shivering, Luigi looked
around. “What are you doing out of your frame!? Oh, wait your only
Luigi. For a minute there I thought you were your pathetic brother
Mario.” Luigi turned around. Standing there was King Boo. “Would
you get out of my Mansion?” Luigi asked “This Mansion is mine!”
Luigi cried “I won it from the Mushroom Kingdom Prize Patrol!
Luigi cried showing King Boo the letter he won from the contest he
didn’t even enter. “Well…I see you got my letter I sent you.” King
Boo said. “Wh- what? You sent me a letter? What letter?” Luigi
said nervously. “This letter was from the Mushroom Kingdom Prize
Patrol, not you!” Luigi cried. “I am the Mushroom Kingdom Prize
Patrol!” King Boo cackled.” “Uh, oh…” Luigi said. Okay, my fellow
Boo’s new plan…the one who kills the plumber will be named
champion of every single one of you. Now get him!” King Boo cried.
“Come on…I mean…like why don’t you guys just give up the whole
world domination thing and just be your normal selves?” Luigi
asked the Boo’s. “We’re not after the world this time plumber!”
King Boo cried. “That really surprises me! You’ve all ready have
my brother in a painting… I mean what else could a ghost like you
want?” Luigi asked him. “A new Luigi picture to go with my nice
new Mario one!” King Boo cackled. “Hope you’re afraid of the dark,
plumber!” King Boo said. “Cause your gonna be in it!” He said.
“Alright, bring it on! I’m not afraid of no stupid ghost!” Luigi
cried bravely crossing his arms. Did you just call me stupid!?
Nobody calls me stupid!” King Boo said. “I have a big surprise for
you…” King Boo cackled.

Chapter 4
Ghosts and Plumbers do not Mix!
|
| “Oh, Bow! Come meet your future husband!” King Boo called.
“Now wait just one darn minute! Did you say future husband!?”
Luigi asked. “That’s just what I said.” King Boo said. Luigi ran
for the door and tried opening it. It didn’t open. “Don’t tell
me…I need a key to open this door right?” Luigi asked him.
“No…that door never opens…unless I say the password.” King Boo
said. “What do you expect? That door is three-thousand years old!”
King Boo cackled. “Well…I’m one of the professor’s best friends!
He’ll help me…I hope.” Luigi said bravely. King Boo started to
laugh. “Did you hear that my fellow Boo’s? Luigi’s friends with
Elvin!” King Boo cackled. “I don’t understand? What’s so funny?”
Luigi asked. King Boo started to calm down a little bit more.
“Elvin doesn’t have friends unless I order him to!” King Boo said.
“He doesn’t need to follow your orders! He wasn’t born to work for
you!” Luigi said angrily. Luigi walked out a different door and
started looking around. Luigi went into the parlor. The Paintings
started to rattle and shake. “Hey! Who is in my room! Is it Mr.
Little Red cap?” asked one picture frame across the hall to the
other one. “No…Hey! It’s Mr.Limegreen over there!” the other
portrait said. “Hope you’re afraid of the dark… ‘Cause you’re not
goin’ past here!” one of the portraits said. “These rooms get very
dark…yessss…” the other portrait said. “Alright my friends… let’s
get ‘em!” Then the portraits turned into ghosts and all of them
turned invisible. Then one of them scared Luigi. Luigi jumped,
turned around and shone his flashlight on the orange ghost. The
orange ghost was stunned. (In other words it was frozen.) Then
Luigi backed toward a wall. The ghost started to run around like a
maniac around the parlor mimicking Luigi. Then finally the ghost
went into the portrait, as Luigi looked at him angrily. The ghost
was afraid. Luigi repeated the same process until… another ghost
scared him but this ghost was purple with yellow eyes, Luigi could
tell this one was different from the other ghosts. “Alright…Bring
it on!” Luigi cried. The purple ghost charged at Luigi very
quickly. Luigi ducked just in time to avoid the attack. Luigi
immediately stood up and turned on the flashlight, the purple
ghost was stunned. The Purple ghost ran around the room and
finally the purple ghost went into his frame also. The purple
ghost dropped a key like the one in the foyer. “Well, time to move
on…” Luigi said as he picked up the key, Luigi headed for the door
and opened it. |

Chapter 5
The Wands’ Spell
|
| Luigi found him self in a hallway with a bunch of doors. “Oh.
Great... a bunch of doors…” Luigi mumbled as he went forward to a
door. Luigi opened it…He saw King Boo standing there. “Welcome
back…” King Boo said. “Huh? I don’t understand why I’m back here!”
Luigi said. “You went in circles!” King Boo cackled. “Now meet
your fate!” King Boo cackled. King Boo charged at Luigi, he could
see that King Boo was aiming for his neck and was going to suck
his blood until the last drop. Luigi moved out of the way just in
time to avoid the attack. “Well…guess you want it the hard way…”
King Boo said sadly as he pulled out a wand. “I’m going to send
you somewhere…where you will never bother me again!” King Boo
cackled. King Boo started to chant, this is what he said: “Make
this plumber have his space, by sending him to the Yoshi’s place!”
He chanted as he pointed the wand at Luigi. The wand didn’t cast
the spell… “Curses!!” King Boo cried. “Stupid wand! Maybe it’s
just an error…” King Boo said pointing the wand at Luigi
again…King Boo started to chant the spell again: “Make this
Plumber have his space…by sending him to the Yoshi’s Place!” King
Boo chanted. The spell worked…Luigi was knocked out, and also
disappeared before you could call for help. “There… that will keep
you out of my way…until the wedding.” King Boo cackled as he
dropped the wand. |

Chapter 6
Chaos on Yoshi’s Island.
|
“Dude…Dude…” The Blue Yoshi said trying to wake up his friend
Luigi. “You awake dude?” He asked again. Luigi woke up. “Alright!
He lives!” He said. “W-where am I?” Luigi asked regaining his
conscious. “Dude! You’re in Yoshi’s Island where the fellow
Yoshi’s roam wild and free! Well…at least they used too.” He said
sadly. “Um…dude? What’s that thing on your back?” he asked Luigi
“Anyway how did you get here dude?” He asked. “I…I don’t remember
much…Th…the last I remember this big ghost with a crown on his
head…it…it sent me here…” Luigi said. “Um… do you remember
anything?” Luigi asked the blue Yoshi. “All the Yoshi’s are gone…a
ghost took them dude…” The Blue Yoshi said. “What am I going to do
Boshi? My brother’s probably worried about me…and I have a stupid
wedding to go to!” Luigi cried, kicking a stone. “Wow! Dude, what
great news! Who’s the wedding for?” Boshi asked. “I…I don’t want
to talk about it…” Luigi mumbled sadly. “Come on dude…Please!”
Boshi begged. “Oh… alright it’s for me…”Luigi said sadly. “Dude!
Why didn’t you tell me!? Can I come?” Boshi asked. “Boshi! You
wouldn’t even want to come! This stupid wedding is planned by my
arch enemy!” Luigi cried angrily. “Dude…um, I hate to ask but… who
is your arch enemy?” Boshi asked. “King Boo…you know the ghost who
likes to cause mischief with his ghosts that he rules. He says he
rules all of them…but I only think he rules the Boo’s.” Luigi
replied. “I’m getting married to King Boo’s Daughter.” Luigi said.
“Dude...do you have to marry her?” Boshi asked. “Yes…Or else King
Boo will cause torcher to my friends and my brother.” Luigi asked.
“But worst of all…there going to take over where I used to live…
Brooklyn! Where our cousins, the Wario Brothers made fun of me
just because my brother and I only had some Money, we owned a
plumber’s academy called the Mario Brothers.” Luigi explained. “We
were poor and the Wario brothers were richer than us. They hated
us…So they put us out of business. “How?” Boshi asked. “They waved
a couple thousand in front of Mr.Henckenmier’s face.” It’s a long
story, so come on I…um…do you have a phone?” Luigi asked the dark
blue Yoshi. “Yes…Over there.” Boshi said as he handed the phone to
Luigi. “Thanks…” Luigi said. “Who are you calling?” Boshi asked.
“A friend of mine…” Luigi said dialing the phone number of his
friend the professor. No one answered. “King Boo must have cut the
lines…the phone’s dead.” Luigi mumbled. “Hey! Food!” Boshi cried
running to the tree. “You know your just like Mario…when were in a
big mess, all he can think of is food.” Luigi laughed. “Here…”
Luigi said grabbing Boshi by the feet and lifting him up to grab
the melon on of the tree. Boshi was heavy. “Okay…I got it!” Boshi
called. Luigi dropped him. “You! I knew it was the right thing to
do when my father told me to follow you!” a voice cried. Luigi
turned around. Bow stood there angrily. “Uh…Dude? Who’s she?”
Boshi asked. “She’s- Luigi started to talk but was soon
interrupted. “I am King Boo’s daughter...” Bow said. Boshi didn’t
understand what she was said about Luigi earlier. “Don’t you
stupid Yoshi’s understand anything? I’m going to take over
Brooklyn…No wait…The whole world- Bow was interrupted by Luigi.
“No no no no no no no!” Luigi cried, pushing Bow somewhere. “There
is no way I’m going to take over the world like a villain…I just
not like that!” Luigi whispered. “I’m just going to have to teach
you then!” Bow laughed. “Come on!” She cried. “Okay…Who was the
one who snuck me treats when our mother wasn’t looking?” Luigi
asked. “Your brother.” she said. “Exactly! When my father died
because of King Bowser, who was the one to comfort me?” Luigi
asked. “Your brother.” Bow said. “See all the good things he has
done for me! I’ve been by his side ever since I was born! Now I
have to save him, because your father put him in a picture frame!”
Luigi cried. “Now probably the professor is in one too! Because of
your father!” Luigi cried. “Now I have to rescue the Yoshi’s!
Because your father kidnapped them!” Luigi cried. “I’m going to
find a way to get out of this mess!” Luigi cried as he walked over
to a palm tree. “Dude! What are you doing?” Boshi asked.
“Thinking… That’s it! Why don’t we take the shortcut way to get
back to the Mansion?” Luigi asked. “What are you thinking!? The
Jungle is dangerous!” Boshi cried. “I know…but I know we can do
it!”Luigi cried. Luigi said as they walked into the Jungle. 5
Hours later… Luigi yawned. “We’ve been walking for hours dude…can
we stop to sleep?” Boshi yawned. “Yes…we’ll all be refreshed in
the morning.” Luigi yawned, and soon everybody went to sleep. In
the morning… Luigi yawned once more as he woke up to see the
sunshine. Luigi went out to the jungle to find food. He decided to
leave a trail of leaves behind so that he wouldn’t lose his way.
This was a very large jungle. It was an easy place for one to get
lost.
Luigi continued walking through the woods. He had chosen to walk
down a small dirt path. He pulled leaves off of the trees and left
them behind him. He walked and walked for several minutes until in
front of him was a small clearing… and beyond that clearing lay an
orange tree! Luigi ran forward, but when he stepped on the dirt of
the clearing the clearing broke and he fell into a pit! “HEEEEELP!”
shouted Luigi. “HELP ME! I’M TRAPPED!” And he was trapped. The pit
was too deep for him to jump out of, and he was standing on a net!
Luigi continued shouting for help, but he knew it wouldn’t help.
He was too far away from the others. What would he do now? He kept
shouting for help. But no one came. Until…
“So, um, what do you think fell into our trap?”
“I dunno. What do you think?”
“Um… I don’t know. What do you think?”
“I don’t really know. Whadda you think?”
This continued until the voices reached Luigi. “Whoa!” cried the
first voice. “Um, I kinda know one thing- that’s not a Yoshi.”
Luigi looked up and saw two Fly Guys looking down at him.
“Um… wow. Should we take that thing to the boss?”
“I don’t know. What do you think?”
"I don’t know. What do you think?”
“I don’t know. What do you think?”
“I don’t know. What do you think?”
Both of the fly guys picked Luigi up from the pit and dropped him.
One of them started to examine him. “Um…you look kind of
familiar…” she said. “He looks like that guy king boo wants to put
in a picture frame! She said once again working around Luigi.
“That letter L reminds of somebody…but I can’t think of who it
is!” She cried.
“Okay. Let’s take it to… um… the boss.”
“Okay. Well, um, let’s get some backup.”
The first Fly Guy pulled out a whistle and blew it. The noise was
so loud that Luigi thought his ears would blow up. When the noise
stopped Luigi looked above himself and saw hundreds of Fly Guys
heading his way. At first, he thought that they would attack but
instead they all took hold of the net he had fallen into and
pulled it up together. Using their combined strength, the Fly Guys
carried. Luigi through the sky and toward the mansion. When they
got to the mansion Luigi thanked them. Back In the Jungle… Bow
woke up. After rubbing her eyes thoroughly she looked around to
see if Boshi was still asleep. The first thing she noticed was
that Luigi was missing. This worried her. She woke Boshi up.
“Wh-what happened?” grumbled Boshi.
“Luigi’s gone!” said Bow
“That’s the most worried tone I’ve ever heard from you dude.”
“What do you think happened to him?” She asked.
Bow sighed, then looked back at Boshi.
“I don’t know dude… Maybe if we find footprints or something, we
could follow them!”
“Footprints? This is grass, Boshi! You can’t leave footprints in
the grass!”
“No, you can’t,” said Boshi “but you can leave a trail behind.”
Boshi pointed at several leaves pointing out an obvious path.
After Luigi was untangled from the net, a guard led him to King
Boo. In the mansion… “Your Majesty…what would you like to do with
your prisoner?” the guard asked. “WHAT!? He came back!?” King Boo
cried looking down to see Luigi with his hands tied together from
a rope. “Stupid Fly Guys.” King Boo mumbled. “Oh…Okay put him in
the dungeon.” King Boo mumbled. “WHAT!?” Luigi cried. “Alright get
moving! Come on!” The guard cried as he moved his spear toward
Luigi, forcing Luigi to move toward the dungeon. Outside the
Mansion…“Okay…” Boshi said. “I’ll go find the Yoshi’s” Boshi said.
“I’ll go find Luigi…ready?” Bow asked. “Sure thing!” Boshi cried.
Then the whole group raced to get King Boo’s Plans spoiled.

Chapter 7
A Plan Failure
|
| King Boo was thinking about what he should do once the Mario
brothers were captured. “Yes! That’s It! King Boo you are a
genius!” King Boo cried. “I’ll sell the Mario Brothers to Bowser!
Then he’ll let me back in the Koopa clan!” King Boo cackled. “Dad!
Do you want to go check on Spooky? He’s been quiet these days.”
Bow said. “Sure…why not.” King Boo said. Meanwhile… “Okay…now
where would I find Mario in this big Mansion, hmm…” Luigi said
thinking. “The study room! King Boo has to keep track of the
portrait ghosts! He must have added Mario to the list!” Luigi
said, heading for the study room. Meanwhile… “Okay…I’ll do my
Yoshi call…” Boshi said. “Yoshi!!!!” Boshi cried. The call echoed
through the mansion. Finally Boshi heard the cry come back.
“Alright! Rock on dude!” Boshi cried. As he followed the cry to
the dungeon. Meanwhile… “Book of riddles…no book of pedicles?
No…Book of paintings…Yes!” Luigi said as he opened the book. Luigi
could see that the book had dividers with each letter of the
alphabet. “Mario…please be in here.” Luigi said, as he turned to
section M. He scrolled down the page until “Mario! Location…King
Boo’s Throne room!? I don’t even know where that is!” Luigi cried.
“Well…sounds like I’m just going to have to find it myself.” Luigi
mumbled as he walked up the stairs and opened a door. Luigi opened
the door and found Mario right beside King Boo’s throne. “Mario
You’ve been…Framed!” Luigi cried as he ran to the picture. But
Luigi forgot to shut the door! Luigi looked back to see King Boo
standing there! “Well well well, look who’s stealing my portraits!
Guard! Seize him!” King Boo cried. Guard came and grabbed Luigi.
He struggled to get away from the guard…but he couldn’t he was
caught! “Take him to the dungeon!” King Boo exclaimed. The guard
took his sphere out and forced Luigi to walk to the dungeon.
“Actually…no don’t. I’ll get a better idea.” King Boo cackled. |

Chapter 8
The spoonful of poison
|
| King Boo opened a door to find his nephew making a potion.
“What are you doing?” King Boo asked his nephew. “Huh?” Blue Boo
looked at him and hid it behind his back. “Nothing…” he said.
“Come on hand it over.” King Boo said. He took it behind his back
to show his uncle. “Alright…it’s a poison.” He said. “Wow, nephew…
who is it for?” King Boo asked. “I don’t know… I just made it for
fun.” He answered. “Well…is it deadly?” He asked. “Yeah, it’s
deadly it just takes one or two days to work.” Blue boo answered.
“Does it work on Humans?” King Boo asked. “Why do you ask?” his
nephew asked his uncle. “Wondering…if it would work on… somebody.”
King Boo said. “Oh please uncle! Tell me who!” blue boo cried.
“Okay…on Luigi.” King Boo answered. “But you said…” Blue Boo
started. “I know, I know! Forget what I said about murdering the
Mario Bros! I’m only murdering one! Just one!” King Boo cried
angrily. “Wow…Cool! Um… when are you going to do it?” he asked. “I
don’t know.” He answered. “Can I have a taste?” King Boo asked.
“Yeah…here.” He said, handing the vile to his uncle. “Say…this is
good! Prepare the next batch for Luigi!” King Boo cried. “Yeah…but
you might want to take a sleeping potion…or something like that,
because well…he might refuse to take it.” King Boo’s nephew
mumbled. “Ha! Refuse to take it!? Nonsense!” King Boo cackled as
he headed for the door. “Remember, it takes one day to work!” blue
boo called. “I know.” King Boo said as he opened the door. King
Boo was back with Luigi and the guard. King Boo took his wand and
knocked Luigi out. Luigi awoke in a confused daze. His eyes played
games with him while adjusting to the very poorly lit room he was
in. The plumber felt sore all over and yawned loudly. He moved to
get up, but was dumbfounded to find out he was already in a
position he saw two straps wrapped around his arms and legs…He
couldn’t move. After his futile efforts, Luigi was congratulated
with a heinous cackling he knew to be an old enemy's. He looked up
to meet the yellow glowing eyes of his nemesis, King Boo. They
were both inside King Boo’s throne room. The windows were boarded
shut, and the crown was now atop the King's head.“Okay…what’s
going on?” Luigi asked. “You are a test taster…” King Boo cackled.
“I don’t get it? What do you want me to test?” Luigi asked. “Just
a little something my fellow boo’s have been making for a long
time. “Let me go right now!” Luigi shouted. "Bleh heh heh heh heh
heh! I'm afraid I can't do that, Luigi.” King Boo cackled. “Why
not? Are you... afraid?!” Luigi taunted. King Boo's less-than-sane
attitude dropped at the comment. "Ha, ha, what a stitch you are,
Mario Brother. You’re a pain in my side. Make another one of those
glorious puns and I may just have to leave your soul to the
greaper’s..." Luigi's cockiness was fleeting upon the spoken word,
greaper. King Boo caught on to this and smiled, showing his jagged
teeth and extra long fangs. His putrid Pink tongue ran along the
rest of his face. Leaving a sticky residue that smelled of decay.
“So, I take it that you've heard of Greaper’s…” King Boo said.
“Yeah, from my brother,” Luigi answered, wondering whether to
sound tough or intelligent. “Ever try using toothpaste? Not to
make you angry…but you have got to get rid of that decay!” Luigi
cried, trying to get the smell of decay to be gone. King Boo
frowned. Then he changed the subject he was talking about back up
again. “Did he happen to tell you what their food of choice was?”
King Boo persisted Luigi. Luigi thought quickly for a moment.
“Well, um... no.” "OOOOH!!! BLEH HEH HEH HEH!!!" King Boo laughed
maniacally, spinning upside down, bouncing all around the room. He
finished his mad romp by regrouping in front of Luigi and clapping
his arms together. “This is fantastic! I'll teach you what they
eat, and what better way to learn, than to see it live?!” Luigi
swallowed hard, his mind raced, wondering what the psychotic ghost
would pull out next. King Boo pulled out a spoon and filled it
with the deadly poison. “Open wide,” King Boo said. Luigi stared
into the eyes of the ghostly king, the spoonful of deadly poison
coming ever closer; closer… as the spoon was shoved into Luigi’s
mouth, Luigi gagged. “What…did you put in that!?” Luigi exclaimed
followed by an other gag. “Nothing…” King Boo cackled. “I’m
starting to fell funny…” Luigi said. “How did it taste?” King Boo
cackled once more. “Terrible! I am never testing anything of yours
again!” Luigi exclaimed. “Good…to let you know that will be the
last thing you’ll be testing.” King Boo cackled. “Huh?” Luigi
asked. “In other words…It’s deadly!” King Boo cackled. “Oh…no.”
Luigi started to worry. “Yes! I did it! I’ve finally beat Luigi!
So Luigi aren’t you going to say something?” King Boo cackled.
Luigi was silent. He couldn’t say anything else to get in even
more trouble he already was in. “Oh…but don’t worry…you have one
day to spend with your so called friends. It only takes one day to
work.” King Boo said. “Uh oh…” Luigi said nervously. “Shhhhh!
don’t say another word!” King Boo said pinching his cheek. “You
won’t want to wake up my other Boo’s…now would you?” King Boo
asked. Luigi shook his head. “Good…I’ll leave you to your place…
see you tomorrow” King Boo cackled as he shut the door. “Luigi?” a
voice asked. “Huh? W-Who’s there?” Luigi asked nervously. The
ghost came out behind the curtains. “Oh…it’s only you…” Luigi
mumbled. “What are you doing here?” Bow asked. “Oh…” Luigi looked
down at his arms and legs. “Well…Your father knocked me out and he
fed me some poison.” Luigi said sadly. “He what!?” Bow asked.
“Come on! We’ve got to get to the professor fast!” Bow cried.
“Your father taunted me beat me and taunted me some more…Now I’m
just some pathetic plumber. So No…I would rather stay here and
die… I wish my brother was here.” Luigi said sadly. “Hmmmm…I
know!” Bow said as she ran out the door. She came back with Mario.
“Luigi!? What are you doing in that chair?” Mario asked.
“Well…Just to let you know this is the last time you’re going to
see me…so tell all our friends that I’m going to…die.” Luigi
mumbled. “What!? Why!” Mario exclaimed. “Well…King Boo fed me some
of this…deadly poison his nephew made.” Luigi said. “We have to
find some antidote somewhere.” Mario said thoughtfully. “Luigi!
Who is the smartest person you know.” Mario asked his brother.
“Uh…the professor.” Luigi said. “Great!” Mario exclaimed. When
they got to the lab… “Okay…there has got to be an antidote in here
somewhere.” Mario said, while looking through the cupboards. “Here
try this.” Mario said, handing his younger brother a potion. Luigi
drank it. “I don’t feel funny anymore! It worked!” Luigi cried.
“Come on…let’s get out of this creepy mansion.” Mario said as they
all hurried out the lab door. Mario opened the door and looked
both sides of the hallway. “I don’t know where to go…” Mario said
nervously. “Luigi! You know the way out!” Mario exclaimed.
“Okay…Mario you go out that door…Bow go find Boshi! I’ll take care
of King Boo.” Luigi said. |

Chapter 9
The Boss Battle Of King Boo
|
Mario and Bow headed out the door. Luigi ran down the stairs
looking for King Boo. Luigi heard his cackle and turned around.
There he was. Standing there angrily. “Alright faucet
freak…Where’s my picture frame?” King Boo asked angrily while
picking Luigi up by the shirt. “Uh well I uh…” Luigi didn’t want
to tell him the truth or Mario would be ghost food! “Well…It goes
like this your nephew…” Luigi started. “Silence!” King Boo cried.
“You are lying to me! I…Hey! Aren’t you supposed to be dead!?”
King Boo cried angrily. “Well…just to let you know, I drank some
antidote!” Luigi cried happily. “Alright you!” King Boo cried
dropping him. “Hmmm…All ghosts do have weaknesses…” Luigi
whispered to himself looking around the room. Suddenly…he spotted…
“Curtains! That’s It! Ghosts hate the light!” Luigi cried as he
headed for the curtains. “Hey! Plumb scum! What are you doing?”
King Boo asked. Luigi ignored his question. He said these words.
“Let there be light!” Luigi cried while pulling the curtains up.
“No! The light! It burns!” King Boo cried shielding his eyes.
“Come my fellow boo’s we must flee! Luigi smiled. “Luigi? Did you
do it? Did you defeat King Boo?” Mario asked. “You know Luigi I
like this mansion.” Mario said looking around. I'm with you,
Mario,” concurred Luigi. “Besides, I've always wanted to live in a
mansion.”
2 DAYS LATER…
Mario had the mansion fixed up. Luigi went out to buy new things
for the mansion.
"You know, I like this place," Mario said.
"Me too," Luigi added.
“I’ll go get the mail!” Luigi cried as he went out to the mail box
and came back in with a bunch of mail.
Luigi checked the mail. One of the letters said "Congratulations!
You have won--" Luigi read the rest. "Uh oh" he said with a
worried look on his face. “What is it Luigi?” Mario asked. “You
might want to check this out…” Luigi said handing Mario the
letter. Mario read it. He responded with the same look. "Here we
go again!" Luigi exclaimed.
