Part 5: Mario The Plumber

My life was flashing before me, all I could think about was the fact that he may fire his gun and kill.  I could dive for it the hole was just a meter away, but that would be crazy.  All of a sudden I heard Booster rushing down the halls.  He ordered the soldiers to put down their weapons and gave me a punch to the jaw.  He asked me what I thought I was doing and I simply said escape idiot.  "I'm tired of you interfering, I will release you if you never return here again, and if you do my soldiers will be ordered to kill you, understand?" he said.  I agreed completely and asked about Peach;  he told me she was not coming with me and I said I refused to leave without her; pretty brave of me huh?  Anyway he told me I can leave now or be shot, so I left the castle promising I would find a way to get her back, guess you could kind of call this the first actual Super Mario story.  I went back to the castle and I began telling my gramps of what happened at Rose Town, and then the phone rang.  My gramps answered it quickly as if he was never hearing what I was saying at all.  I heard some kind of slow and strange sound on the phone and after that my gramps stood there frozen for about a minute he dropped the phone and went to his room, I tried to follow him, but the guards said he requested to be alone.  Now I was worried my gramps wouldn't talk to me, and Peach was still captive in Booster's hands and I didn't have anyone to turn to..except Luigi!  I went to the house and asked Uncle Toad for Luigi although I had to lie to my uncle and say I had a job, I got away with it anyway.  So I went to Luigi and told him the story part by part and asked him if he could help, Luigi if you haven't known was a Navy SEAL of The MKA (Mushroom Kingdom Army) and I asked him if he could help me break out Peach he told me we were going to need money for supplies and Luigi didn't have a job as yet.  I had to get a job now for Peaches sake and then I saw an add in the newspaper and it said they needed a plumber with experience and I quickly called the number 2112-5620-9986, oh yeah and if you didn't know our numbers here in the kingdom have 12 digits in total instead of the worldly standard of 10.  I went to the place and as soon as I told them I was the son of my father Jose Rodriguez I was hired instantly, it's great to have a legend of a trade related to you.  So this is how I became a plumber and this is why I'm always dressed up as one in my video games.  My first day was today and I was ready, I kept the moustache, because I thought I looked good in it.  I went to my first stop it was a small apartment in the west end of MK (Mushroom Kingdom). I knocked on the door and to my surprise I see my old teacher Smithy.  We talked for a while as I fixed his leaky faucet he seemed to have a lot of things to say, but luckily it only took 10 minutes to fix the faucet and then I was off.  I went to the east end now to a medium sized home and I met my old high school friend Wario he was at the door waiting when I came.  "I thought you were going to be a doctor." He said.  I told him this was just part time, and I needed money for something.  He asked what and I told him that I couldn't tell him, well I wish I could've, but I really said, I mean yelled out "THAT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS"  and he quickly stepped off.  It took me a longer time to fix his sink because he locked his sink and it took him 20 minutes just to find the damn key.  Well I fixed it in five minutes so that saved time sort of.  Anyway I had a call on my pager a major water accident was in Rose Town Castle were Booster was; I froze for a minute.  This could be my chance to rescue Peach, but if I was caught I would be shot.  Hey I rhymed I don't do that often.  Anyway I didn't think long enough about it and the fact that Peach was in danger I quickly said Yes and I was on my way.
