Part 7: Chasing A Thief

"This is going to be hard" Luigi told me.  I knew it and he did too; to get Croco we would have to think hard, after all Croco was the best thief in the world!  Anyway, Luigi and I had come up with a plan and soon at this rate Croco would not stay in Mushroom Kingdom for long.  Luigi had a tracker on Croco, but the signal kept getting lost every minute, so we had to break it.  While Luigi was still adjusting the tracker I went upstairs to my room (Uncle Toad finally let me in the house) and began to draw a plan to get him.  I had been working on it since I had heard he invaded the castle or army base whatever.  I had the plans drawn up and I was about to go take a shower when Luigi called me downstairs.  "I got it!!" he shouted "It works finally and it seems he's near our area."  I got the plan to get him. But I would need him near his house or apartment.  Luigi went outside to look out for Croco, if he was coming to near the house, we had to make sure; just in case anything was going to happen.

A few hours Later...

We were ready we were going to intersect him at his apartment and capture him, easy was it not?  Well I wish it was, because it seems he changed his route and was heading for Mushroom Jets.  We would have to move fast, Croco was moving quickly.  I jumped into the Acura I had bought last week from my paycheck and Luigi got in too.  I turned the ignition and drove off full speed.  It was going well until a cop car came by and saw me speeding.  "Oh snap!" shouted Luigi.  I pulled over not wanting to get in trouble.  "What do you think your doing?" said the cop; his badge said officer Bullet Bill it was a nickname of some sort.  I told the officer I needed to go now.  He slapped me with a ticket and I was about to leave when he started giving me a speech about speeding.  I didn't have time for this at all, I need to go now if Croco got on that plane I would never see Peach again.  I know it was against the law but, I...

The cell in The Rose Town Castle

Peach was content not good, but content she had found a way to make her bed soft and a way to keep sane thanks to Boshi.  Boshi and Peach were right beside each other and they talked a lot sometimes.  Boshi had helped Peach ease the pain on her leg after being beaten by the soldiers.  Peach had also helped Boshi conserve water so that he wouldn't have to go thirsty each night.  Basically Peach and Boshi were a team.  Boshi had a secret tunnel connecting his cell with Peach's cell if you ask me I would swear they were in love.  All of a sudden Booster came from the stair well and said "Your friend paid me a visit Peach and I shot him dead." "You're lying!" Peach said angrily.  "Whatever you say" he said "believe what you want." He said as he went up the stairs.  Peach was wondering if it was true what he had said.  Could Mario possibly be dead; she wouldn't think about it, a tear drop went down her check and she began to cry.  "Don't worry." Said Boshi "you'll be alright, he's just lying to you."  He went up to her and wiped her face with his bandana.  If you didn't know Peach began to like me when we were captured.  I never knew at the time, but all I know is I liked her and had to save her.
