I don't care about the Olympics because I'd rather watch something interesting as opposed to a bunch of random people who I don't know, running around doing pointlessly expensive athletics. Seriously, couldn't we spend the money on, I don't know, feeding the starving masses of Africa?

Someone always has to bring up starving children in Africa, when the countries themselves can't help because of the African countries' governments are too unstable and corrupt to want help Now there are those Christian organizations that go around and take supplies to poor countries in Africa and West Asia with tons of jets and all that.

I so wanted that Russian guy to win in ice skating (I always watch the Olympics when I'm eating ice cream at night , I never choose to watch ice skating )

I'm getting kind of sick of them because they're on all the time (the Olympics, not the Haitians =P). But I think in general they're pretty cool. Although all the attention Shaun White gets gets annoying because people who just watch the Olympics think he is God. Obviously he's good, but there are other great snowboarders who don't compete in the Olympics.

It's everywhere. To be honest they kind of over glorified the Canadians.

I know in the US there's coverage on at least 3 channels, like all day long: NBC, USA, and I think MSNBC. I depend on USA for Law and Order SVU marathons =P

It's also on WE, or at least the Summer ones did. I don't normally watch women-based channels
