Description/Information: |

Mario's finally back in a brand new sidescrolling action game.
Bowser has kidnapped the Princess and you must save her by getting
across a great variety of levels in 8 different worlds,
each with a cool theme.
If you've ever played Super Mario Bros, you can really tell how
this is a vast updated and enhanced game built on that style
of gameplay.
Go through levels jumping to and from a large variety of
platforms, some stationary, some moving. Also avoid a variety of
obstacles and an awesome assortment of enemies.
Use classic items such as a Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, and Star.
But also a Large Mushroom to make Mario enormous for a
short period of time and crush everything in sight. There is also
a blue shell which provides a cool new way of playing, and
a Mini-Mushroom to shrink down and get into certain areas you
couldn't without.
There also 3 large coins hidden in every level, that you can try
and fin and collect. Besides the fun of trying and find
these, you can use them to buy routes on the map.
The main game doesn't really take any advantages of the touch
screen or dual screen, but lets you take control of the dpad
and buttons, and play some classic style Super Mario gameplay.
As if this main game isn't enough, there are also a great variety
of mini-games to be played, mini-games from Super Mario 64
DS. So have a blast playing these touch screen mini-games. But
that's not all, these games have been edited to be
multiplayer, so off 1 game pak, play these mini-games with a
friend.
And if all that wasn't enough, there is yet another Multiplayer
Mode which can be played off 1 game pak. One player takes
control of Mario, the other Luigi, and enter sidescrolling Mario
levels and try and get the Stars that appear. |
