Super Mario 64 DS is a re-release to
Super Mario 64 for the
N64, with many added features.
Added to this game, is 3 new characters to play as. You can now
play as Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Yoshi. Each character has his own
abilities. Some are faster, some are stronger, the jumps are
different, etc.
You still have all the classic worlds from before, but now there
are added missions to those worlds. And some missions can only be
won by using a certain character. There are some new worlds to
explore and collect stars in. These worlds aren't as massive as
the others, but still a whole new world to explore. There are now
150 stars to be collected in the game, compared to the 120 stars
in the original.
There are also a whole bunch of mini-games that you can unlock and
play as you progress through the main adventure mode.
There are a whole big variety of mini-games to play, and they
involve the use of the touch pad.
There is also a verses mode. Where up to 4 DSes in range can verse
in some arenas. They can fight each-other while frantically trying
to get stars. |
