Description/Information: |
| |
The highly anticipated Mario Kart Double Dash. People expected
alot from this game. It offers a new type of racing with two
characters on the same kart. Some people loved this, some didn't
care, and some wanted the old way back.
Whatever people thought, Double Dash became a hit.
In Double Dash you get to pick from ALOT of characters, way more
than in the previous Mario Karts. And you can put these characters
in different combinations with eachother. You can have Mario and
Bowser on a Kart, DK and Wario, Yoshi and Birdo, etc.
You also get to select your kart, and there is alot of karts as
well.
There are 3 levels of karts and racers. Small, Medium, and Large.
Large characters cannot ride in smaller than Large Karts, but
small can ride in all sizes, and medium can ride in large and
medium.
There are many new exciting tracks to play in, many have become
hits for gamers, like Baby Park, which is just an oval track you
race around a bunch of times.
There are classic items to use in races, as well as new ones. Each
character has their own unique item. DK and Diddy have a giant
Banana, Mario and Luigi have a row of fireballs, etc.
When racing you can alternate between who is driving, and who is
behind using the items. Since there are two racers per kart, you
can hold two items!
There is also the classic verse modes and time trials.
Battle Mode is back, with some new courses to battle in. But
besides classic Balloon Battle where you destroy the other racers
balloons, there is also a Shine Capture game, where one racer gets
a Shine Sprite and other racers try and get it back. You want to
have it the longest to win.
There is also a Bob-omb mode where you blast Bob-ombs at your
fellow racers.
The game also allows two players to share a kart. So one can race
and the other can use the items. Although it's not that fun being
the item person.
The game can also link up to other Gamecube's and you can verse
with up to 12 racers!!!
If you want a fun, easy to get into racing game for the cube, try
Double Dash. |
