Cobra Triangle is a unique boat game for the NES.
You may think you will just be racing around a track against other
boats, but there is more than that.
Cobra Triangle has a perspective and feel as R.C Pro AM. This is
not surprising when they are both made by Rare.
You can drive around the water in your boat, and even have the
ability to shoot. The controls are very good and fast.
There are different Missions you will have to do.
There is one where you have to race other boats to a finish line,
you can try swerve your way past them, or just shoot them!
There is a mission where you have to dispose of mines. In this
mission you will grab a mine and race across a strip of water and
place them in a square.
While you are doing this a boat is chasing you, and there is even
some things shooting at you from land.
There is a mission where you have to drive straight up stream.
What's hard about this? There are constant obstacles coming at
you, you can't shoot 'em just try and avoid them.
There is one where you have to save these people. There is a
square with swimmers in it. Then all of a sudden all these boats
will come at you and try and kidnap the swimmers! You have to
shoot the boats and save the swimmers.
There is a timer counting down, if at the end there is at least
one swimmer left, you win.
There is another mission where you have to defeat a big boss, it's
just you and it. You will have to move around the screen of water
and avoid it and what it throws at you, and try and shoot it.
There are a couple other missions as well.
You basically repeat these missions over and over. They get harder
as you go along, adding new obstacles.
Cobra Triangle is a very fun game. Fun missions that get you
excited and hooked into the game. If you are looking for a
different fun action game for your NES, then this is a game to
check out.
