Ice Hockey is a fun Hockey game for the NES, that many consider
there favourite hockey game for the NES.
In Ice Hockey you first select your country. Once you do that you
get to select your team players sizes. There are 3 sizes, small,
medium, and large.
The bigger the player the stronger, and the bigger the player the
slower.
You can knock other players over by skating into them.
A large player can knock down any medium and small player, and a
medium can knock down any small player. What if to players of the
same size meet?
Well that is kind of random, one will knock over and the other
won't.
That is about it. What you expect from a hockey game is there. You
skate around with the puck, one button passes and the other
shoots. You also control your goalie.
There is a two player mode where two players face off against
eachother.
Ice Hockey is a great Hockey game. Usually Nintendo's sport titles
for the NES, (Tennis, Soccer, Baseball.) Were really basic and the
worst of the other NES games in the same sport. But this one takes
the cake. It's a really fun simple hockey game. If you are looking
for one, try this one out. |
