Slalom is a racing skiiing game.
In Slalom you will ski down different mountains. If you get to the
bottom in a certain time limit, then you go on to another. The
view is like Rad Racer. It's a behind view, but it looks nice.
Don't think getting down the mountains is easy. There are
obstacles to avoid, such as other skiers, little snow plops,
trees, etc.
But you have a jump button, so you have the ability to jump over
some obstacles, while other you merely have to avoid.
Not pressing any D-Pad direction will make you go a somewhat fast
speed. You can press sup to go faster, or press down to slow down.
The mountains get more difficult as you go along.
There is also a 2 player alternating mode.
If you want a skiing game, look no further and get this. Even if
you are not a skiing game fan, this is more of a downhill racing
game then skiing. But I guess, that's what skiing is partially
about. |
