   Description/Information:

The the almost unbelievable success of the first Donkey Kong Country 2, Rare had to get going on a sequel, and have it out by next holiday season.

This is Donkey Kong Country 2, it features the same amazing gameplay as the first, but with new fun additions to the gameplay. Unlike its predecessor, you know play as Diddy and Dixie. That's right, you can't play Donkey Kong in Donkey Kong Country 2.
Despite DK's absence, most players enjoyed playing as Dixie, many prefer her over Diddy.

In Donkey Kong Country 2, you still try and make it to the end of each level. But there are now more levels which involve you going up. And new, and very interesting and hard obstacles and enemies. There are also some new animal buddies to help you out. There is also interaction between Diddy and Dixie. Either Monkey can lift the other up, and then throw him or her. This can allow some coins or bananas to be grabbed, or help them get to a high up place.
Dixie does have one thing that Diddy doesn't, long hair. This hair allows Dixie to sort of glide across areas, this can help you out through-out the game.

You still have to swing from things, jump over things, avoid things, and go through different worlds, each with their own theme and big boss to defeat.
But the levels are now much more advanced, longer, harder, and funner.

Unlike the first game, your fellow Kongs now charge you money for certain tasks. It will cost a couple coins to take a flight with Funky, it will cost a couple coins to save your game, and get advice. There is also Swanky Kong. You will be asked questions relating to the game, and win extra lives for being correct.

Donkey Kong Country 2 offers much more than the first. With many, many more secrets to unlock. You will have to replay this game quite a few times before finding everything. The graphics are improved, better sound, and hard to believe, but many great enhancements on the gameplay.

If you liked the first, then you are going to love this one.
