Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES)

This is the system the followed the NES. This is the next generation from Nintendo.
With it you were playing with Super Power.

Well, Sega came out with their 16-Bit System the MegaDrive/Genesis. Nintendo only had the NES out on the market. Their sales started to slump with Sega scooping them up.

So a couple years after the Genesis arrived, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System showed up. It showed up with better sound, graphics, and more power then the Genesis. It also had much more buttons than the Genesis or NES.

It quickly picked up momentum and became a huge success.
Then the SNES got Donkey Kong Country, with this powerhouse of a game, it brought Nintendo's SNES Sales way, way up.

The SNES continued for many years, producing some memorizing games.

The SNES has a great place in many gamers hearts, many see it as their favourite Nintendo System.
