WiiWare & Virtual Console Monday Releases 03/30/09

Two new games were added to WiiWare and the Virtual Console today, one game for each. For WiiWare, Nintendo delivers what it calls the first “first-person groomer”, Bonsai Barber. The sequel to the classic NES boxing game, Super Punch-Out!!, also hits the Wii Shop Channel today.

If you’ve been praying for a WiiWare game that has playing stylist to a variety of vegetables, today’s your day. Bonsai Barber will have you using scissors, clippers, a spray can and more to meet the style demands of 12 different vegetables, including a “temperamental shallot starlet” and a “daredevil carrot”. Each day you get 5 customers, who you must style. The game features 30 different fashions and if you meet your customers request to the tee, you’ll receive a special gift. You can also take screenshots in the game that can be posted to the Wii message board or sent to friends.

Virtual Console

Super Punch-Out!!
Super Punch-Out!! brings the humor and classic gameplay of the original NES game back into the ring, with some new characters to go head to head with and three circuits to dominate (Minor, Major and World). Once again, the World Video Boxing Association belt is up for grabs and Little Mac is determined to take it. Punch and dodge your way to the top.
