The Lost Vikings
The Lost Vikings. What a great trio. They all have to work together to get the job done. Well, this game came out and people loved it. Its a great game. It combines unique style puzzles with action.
Faxanadu
Faxanadu is one of the few NES games I got to play when the NES was still making games. I rented it and really enjoyed it. I didn’t get that far in the game on the count that I couldn’t read at that young age. But I always remembered it. When I got my NES when I was older that is one of the first games I got.
Donkey Kong Country
Does this game even need an introduction. WOW!, THE DONKEY KONG COUNTRY!!! This game just shot the Super Nintendo up in sales. It is incredible. Up until then Donkey Kong games were very basic. They were these one screen things. They were basic fun. Games that you could beat in 10 minutes. When this came out, everyone was just astonished.
Super Mario Bros. 3
Super Mario Bros. 3 is the #1 selling video game of all time. Is this because of the huge build up it got before its release? Is it because it was the last of the Super Mario Bros. games for the NES? The answer is NO! This game is one of the best video games ever made.
Adventure Island
Adventure Island is the start of a great trilogy for the NES. It has been called a “Lesser Version of Super Mario Bros.” but I find it a completely different game, it does have some similarities, but a lot of games have similarities. This is one of the first NES games I played, and one of the NES games I still play.
