  Game Name: Alex Rider: Stormbreaker
System: Nintendo DS
Genre: Action
Players: 1
Developer: Altron
Publisher:
THQ
Release Dates:
Japan: July 7th, 2006
United States: September 27th, 2006

Introduction:

This game is based on the movie adoption of the new york times best-selling book Stormbreaker.

Story:

14 year old Alex Rider is an orphan, and his only relative, his uncle Ian Rider had just died. Alex was told it was a car crash. He thinks more. After discovering that his uncle was shot, and his uncle was a secret agent working for MI6, his world is turned upside down. Alex is persuaded by MI6 to investigate Sayle Enterprises, a computer making company that is been working on a computer called the Stormbreaker and they are prepared to give one to every school in England. Will Alex find something dangerous? or will he perish in the attempt...

Gameplay:

The gameplay in this game is really bad. You can get a game over by filling a "Caution Gauge" while fighting and the enemies are waayy too easy, even on hard mode. And the mini Games are dull and boring, and sometimes really frustrating. Its almost impossible to beat the computer in the mini game "Snooker". And moving around in the game environments is difficult, because you can only walk at a slow pace if you are not using your stamina on running that doesn't go much faster either. The items that you can purchase in the spy store only work once, and their effects you don't even need to use.

I give the gameplay: 2/5

Graphics:

The graphics are messed up, and the items don't look right at all. They did add actual pictures of the actor who played Alex in the movie next to the health and stamina bars, but the quality stinks.

I give the graphics: 1/5

Sound:

The music is crappy, the characters don't talk except for a cry of pain on the last level. It stinks. And the music is played over and over and over making you want to rip the speakers off your DS!

I give the sound: 1/5

Replayability:

You wont want to replay this game at all.

I give the replayability: 1/5

Challenge:

The game is incredibly easy, the bosses are usually easier than the normal enemies, and I beat the game in 2 hours or so.

I give the challenge: 1/5

Frustration:

There is no frustration. except if you count the quality of the game as a category.

I give the frustration: 1/5

Value:

This game isn't cool at all!

I give the value: 1/5

Overall:

This game is really bad. The critics gave it 25% out of 100%. I give it 1% out of 100%. Don't buy this game whatever you do!

I give Alex Rider: Stormbreaker: 1/5

Conclusion:

in conclusion, the movie and book are cool, but the game stinks.
