  Game Name: WarioWare Touched!
System: Nintendo DS
Genre: Action
Developer/Publisher: Nintendo
Release Date: Feb 14, 2005
Players: 1

Introduction:

Ah, the newest addition to the DS library (at the time of writing this). Lets see how it folds out :)

Story:

The story goes something like this. Wario discovers the new Nintendo handheld (DS) and then tricks people into making him microgames, so he can become filthy rich. Not much to the story, but the game doesn't need a lengthy one :P

Gameplay:

The gameplay is INCREDIBLE! Having never played a WarioWare game before, I was surprised at how fun and addicting some of the minigames become. This is the 2nd DS title out to date that really shows what the DS is capable of. This game is an instant classic, and it will be remembered through the years.

I give the gameplay: 9/10

Graphics:

The graphics aren't anything spectacular, but they don't need to be. It looks like your average GBA game, except it makes use of 2 screens. Again nothing above average, but the game uses a lot of wacky colors and designs.

I give the graphics: 6/10

Sound:

The sound is pretty good. I like how when you play a set of minigames, the longer you play the faster the music gets. Let me guarantee you, once you play this game, you will get Ashley's song stuck in your head :P

I give the sound: 8/10

Replayability:

The replayability is extraordinary; over 180 microgames, plus the toy rooms which eventually get filled, and all the other little great stuff you can do make this a very replayable game. Like any game though, you WILL get sick of it eventually, but at that point it will be great to bust this game out once in a while.

I give the replayability: 9.5/10

Challenge:

This is where the game lacks most. Most of the minigames aren't challenging at all. There will be a few times you will die, because you wont figure out what to do in 5 seconds, but other than that this game is a breeze.

I give the challenge: 4/10

Value:

The value is strong, for however long the game will occupy you. I paid $45 dollars for it and I think that was above worth it. This was the first DS game to come out in over a month, so people were starving for a new game (myself included). I recommend this to all Nintendo fans.

I give the value: 8/10

Overall:

All in all, WarioWare Touched! is a great new game for your beloved DS. It really shows what the DS has in store, and as time passes I only expect games to get even better. While the game lacks in the graphics and challenge department, neither are really necessary to enjoy this game, as the fun factor is through the roof. I hope more great games come out in the near future, for my beloved DS.

I give WarioWare Touched!: 8/10
