Ok, here goes: This game is a classic Game Boy game. It deserves as much respect as Super Mario Brothers and Metroid. The gameplay is pretty solid and basic. You guide Kirby through 4 lands each with a mini-boss and a big boss. To get to these bosses Kirby inhales, exhales and floats, dodging and killing enemies. There are a couple different enemies, although they are basically the same. This also goes for the bosses. Most bosses require you to inhale an object (apple, bomb, box...) and shoot it back at the boss. Each boss is different, one is a cloud, one a tree, and more. But if you wanted a challenging side scroller, turn around. I beat Kirby's Dream Land in about 45 minutes, in one try, without losing all my lives. The fact that there isn't a save feature is probably why the game is so easy. After you beat the final boss, you will be treated to a short, text-less cutscene. Then you will be given a button sequence to push at the title screen. This will unlock an "extra game" that is basically the original game, just harder. If you are okay playing an extremely easy game this is a must. You can get it used at EBgames.com for under $10. I give Kirby's Dream Land an 8.5 out of 10.
