Introduction:
This is Luigi'sfan4ever with a 7th review.
Story:
One day you're in a train, moving to a new town. A cat named Rover
greets you and sits with you. He'll ask you questions that you answer.
After answering his last question, in which Rover finds out you didn't
choose a house before moving, he'll call Tom Nook and ask him if
there's a house available for you to take. After that the train stops
at the town you're moving into. You get off and after leaving the
train station, Tom Nook is waiting for you. He leads you to four
houses that you can take. Once you pick one of the four houses, he'll
ask you to pay him 20,000 Bells but you have only 1000 Bells, which
isn't enough. Then he'll say you can work off the rest at his store.
What happens after that? Play the game to find out the rest.
Gameplay:
You walk around town doing many things. At one point, while you're
working for Tom Nook, he will tell you to introduce yourself to your
neighbors and the mayor of your town, Tortimer. You can also run
errands for your neighbors, talk to them, or send letters to them with
or without an item attached to the letter. Aside from those, you can
fish, catch bugs, dig up stuff from the ground, or get fruit from
trees by shaking them. Animals will occasionally move in and out of
your town.
A nice feature is that the game utilizes a real time system. At night,
the animals in your town go to sleep, but at different times and in
the morning, the animals wake up, but once again, at different times.
Tom's store opens sometime in the morning and closes sometime in the
night. Events in your town are also affected by time such as the
Fishing Tourney which ends at 6:00 PM. And one last thing, you can
also visit a friend's town if their Memory Card is in Slot B and they
have their Animal Crossing data in it.
I give the gameplay: 10/10
Graphics:
They're not bad but not great either.
I give the graphics: 8/10
Sound:
The sound is pretty good. The sound of your footsteps depend on
what you're walking on. For
example, when you walk on steel, it sound's like you're walking on
steel. A downside is that the
animals have wierd voices.
I give the sound: 8/10
Replayability:
Very replayable. There's always something to do
everyday in Animal Crossing.
I give the replayability: 10/10
Challenge:
There's hardly a challenge except for catching every bug and fish,
getting every category in your museum filled, and aiming for a high
score from the HRA.
I give the challenge: 6/10
Value:
The game is worth it. In fact, I got this game for $20! Get this
game if you're interested.
I give the value: 10/10
Overall:
This game is great!
I give Animal Crossing: 5.2/10
Conclusion:
Sayonara!
