Game Name: Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
System: Gamecube
Genre: First Person Action Adventure
Developer: Retro Studios and Nintendo
Publisher: Nintendo
Release Date: November 15th, 2004
Players: 4

Introduction:

Metroid Prime 2 is basically just like all the others, only with some great improvements. It still has the same classic stuff like all the power ups that you need to recover. We've all known Metroid from the original GB games...which I always thought were the best, until this came out.

Story:

This game starts out with you (Samus) crashing onto a "warring" planet. The planet....Aether... well its basically two planets. The "Ing" are the problem, they've come from the darkness in Aether, which they then created a whole new dimension, called Dark Aether. You start out on Light Aether where you have to help the Luminothget stop the Ing from making Light Aether into dark Aether. you have to search for "keys" to to unlock the sacred temples that power the world. The good thing is, there are only 3 of them. The bad part is, is one of them is on dark Aether. That'/s where you find the main villain.....you. Yep, a dark version of you who can withstand the harsh conditions of dark aether. You have help or, so you thought, the Galactic federation had come to the planet to battle the Ing, but they didn't do to good.

Gameplay:

The game play rocks, its first person just like the first one. The battles are just as action packed as ever too. There is also alot to explore over both worlds of Aether.

I give the gameplay: 10/10

Graphics:

Graphics are what blew me away the most. At most times I feel like i'm "in the game". Everything looks real.

I give the graphics: 10/10

Sound:

Sound is just as great as always.

I give the sound: 10/10

Replayability:

You might not feel like replaying this game right away, it takes a bit to beat.

I give the replayability: 5/10

Challenge:

The challenge is what also makes the game. It doesn't take 4 hit to kill a boss like some games. You always have to find a strategic way to beat everything.

I give the challenge: 10/10

Overall:

Overall, this game is the best version of Metroid ever.

I give Metroid Prime 2: Echoes: 10/10

Conclusion:

In conclusion, this is a must play game, you'll really like it.
