  Game Name:
Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door
System:
Gamecube
Genre:
RPG
Players:
1

Developer:
Intelligent Systems
Publisher:
Nintendo
Release Date:
October 11th, 2004

Introduction:

Welcome to my 1st review. This time, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door!

Story:

When Mario receives a letter from the princess, it contains a map that locates treasure behind a thousand year door. Now Mario and allies must find the treasure before Grodus or Bowser does.

Gameplay:

The Gameplay is awesome! Mario jumps, hammers, and is a hunk to some women. HAHA! Anyway, the game is like a RPG. You follow the map's locations for crystal stars. Crystal stars are needed to open the thousand year door, 7 (I think) you need. You also battle enemies with special moves depending on badges or crystal stars. You also talk to people and solve puzzles and you can buy stuff like items and badges. This is one gameplay that is wicked.

I give the gameplay: 9.5/10

Graphics:

Graphics are wicked cool because like when you look at the boat that drops Mario off to Rogueport, it is 3-D but when it flips it's like 2-D animation. SWEET!! Anyway, so it's cool.

I give the graphics: 8.5/10

Sound:

Wow, this game has awesome sounds. Like the battle music, boss battle music, hammer sounds, and more! It's what a Mario game is all about.

I give the sound: 10/10

Replayability:

Definitely two thumbs up! If you reply it, it will not bore you because it is awesome and the best Mario RPG (I think) ever to come out.

I give the replayability: 9.5/10

Challenge:

Geez, this was easy but than it turned hard! The pit of 100 trails was hard because there are no save points, no shops, or no inns on ALL floors! The final boss battle was hard to because the boss can damage you 15+! This was one challenging game.

I give the challenge: 710/10

Value:

I value it. 'Nuff said.

I give the value: 7/10

Overall:

This game is what a adventure game should be. It's great and cool and... GREAT! This is a RPG that you got to buy!

I give Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door: 10/10

Conclusion:

If you like this review of Paper Mario: TTYD, then go buy it man! It's GREAT!
