  Game Name: Wario World
System: Gamecube
Genre: Action
Developer/Publisher: Nintendo
Release Date: Jun 23, 2003
Players: 1
Memory Blocks: 10

Introduction:

Hi, and this is Luigi'sfan4ever with a review of Wario World.

Story:

One day Wario finished construction of his castle. In his basement were piles of gold and other treasure that he stole from around the world. He was laughing to himself when suddenly, an evil jewel called the Black Jewel awoke among the treasure and sucked up all of Wario's treasure and spat them back out as monsters. It then wrecked Wario's place and recreated it as its own.

Gameplay:

The gameplay is very easy. The most basic move is punching. There are other basic moves such as dashing, jumping, or picking things up. You can also throw your enemies. It is also possible to charge up your throws before chucking your enemy away. Wario can also perform moves such as the Piledriver, Corkscrew Conk or the Wild Swing-Ding. The flaw in Wario's moves are that there aren't many moves to use against your opponents.

In addition to beating up enemies, Wario can collect coins. He can also suck them up with his mouth! I think that's crazy! There also these switches that show treasure chests. They contain some of the treasure Wario had before the Black Jewel stole them.

I give the gameplay: 7/10

Graphics:

Pretty much average.

I give the graphics: 7/10

Sound:

The sounds in this game are pretty good but I don't like some of them.

I give the sound: 8/10

Replayability:

There's not much to do once you get everything. And Wario World's pretty short for a game that uses 10 blocks of memory. The only thing I do in the game now is collecting more money.

I give the replayability: 5/10

Challenge:

It's not even challenging at all.

I give the challenge: 0/10

Value:

The game's pretty much worth it...

I give the value: 8/10

Overall:

Well, the game got a 35 out of 60 possible points or 3.5 out of 6.

I give Wario World: 3.5/6

Conclusion:

Despite the score it got from me, it's still a good game. Until my next review, see ya!
