Introduction:

This is a game made early in the Nintendo 64's life and is made by Imaageer and Genki. It's a racing game with on and off road cars and tracks. Its only main problem is that it only features 3 tracks.

Story:

I guess it's to try and win and come 1st to be champion.

Gameplay:

The gameplay with this game is great, many people don't like this game probably because of its lack of tracks and that is kind of a problem, the tracks are great and are fun but it would be so much more fun if they made about 3 or 4 more tracks. You can unlock 3 more tracks but it's just the 1st 3 backward. If you race long enough you can see day turn into night and the lights on your car turn on and etc and its really adds to the games atmosphere. The controls are not easy but not hard, they might be hard to start with but you should get used to it. Just got to watch out for corners and etc, don't get to close. Another good thing is that it has no invisible boarders, you wont all of a sudden hit an invisible barrier which is good as its in a lot of other car games.

Graphics:

The graphics on this game are really good for a early game, you also see sparks and etc when you go and hit the ground and etc. They got good detail too like when night falls lights will go on on buildings, your car and the light house with the light turning around and etc. The cars look nice and the opening movie looks sweet and they have really good detail like statues and etc in the background and that, I gotta give them two thumbs up for this.

Sound:

The sound is good but not great, when you hit the water it's not the best but it's not bad either. You go over jumps you hit the road and that, its kinda basic really but when you hit the ground and etc its like your engine is hitting it, it's a bit hard to explain. Sound I will give a 6.

Replayability:

The game will keep you playing about a week but you seem to come back to it a few weeks later and it has a good 2 player mode too but its only 2 player, but if you have a friend over wack it out, have a go you will like.

Challenge:

You will finish the game a bit fast if you choose a off road car, as they can go on and off road any way you go but if you use an on road you are gonna find it hard so I will give this a 5. 5 for on road and 5 for off.

Value:

This is worth the value, the game has lots of gameplay, and is a bit of a challenge, so in my opinion, go and get it, it will only be about $5. Also if you got a mate with you like I said before it's fun but it will get boring a bit too soon but you'll find your self coming back.

Overall:

The sound is average The graphics are very good and the controls are sorta great but not if you know what I mean, but I would really like you to go and play it and have a good time, you might be surprised.

Conclusion:

It's a good game for a rainy week end and a week of nothing to do, but that's all but you will find yourself coming back in a few weeks, well I did anyway. Until my next review soon, good luck.
