Game Name:
10 Yard Fight
System:
NES
Genre:
Sports/Football
Developer:
Irem Software Engineering
Publisher:
Nintendo
Release Date:
Japan: August 30th, 1985
United States: October 1985 |
Introduction:
The first football game ever for the NES was 10-yard fight, and it
was the best until tecmo came up with Tecmo Super Bowl.
Story:
10 seconds on the clock; 4 down and 20 you're the QB, do you run or
do you try to make the pass of the game you decide.
Gameplay:
The gameplay is great even if you don't like football. There are
different levels of competition, and the players move relatively fast,
but don't expect anything great.
I give the gameplay: 6/10
Graphics:
The graphics are good for football and for a 85 release, but there
not the best you'll ever see for 85 games. If you don't like the
graphics play the arcade version.
I give the graphics: 5/10
Sound:
The sound sucks period. If you like it that's sad, but the truth is
the sound couldn't get worse.
I give the sound: 2/10
Replayability:
If you like football you will keep playing, but if your not a fan
you'll probably play the game for 1 hr per day then get bored.
I give the replayability: 5/10
Challenge:
The game is challenging if you pass badly you'll do bad if you
don't know how to use the wall to your advantage you'll lose so you
got to use strategy so the game can be considered challenging.
I give the challenge: 8/10
Overall:
This is just your average football game it's either you like it or
not.
I give 10-Yard Fight: 5.2/10
Conclusion:
The same statement in the overall box.
