Introduction:
Hi this is Luigi'sfan4ever and I have a review for a NES game!
Story:
I don't think this game has a story...
Gameplay:
If you're on the outfield, you pitch. If you pitch right and the
batter on the other team misses the ball, you give the opposing team a
strike. If you don't throw the ball accurately, you get a "ball". Just
give the other team three strikes to get the batter out. If the batter
hits the ball and sends it flying, catch the ball to get the batter
out.
If not, get to the base the batter's going for (with the ball in your
hands) and reach it before the batter does. If you do, you get him
out. If you don't reach him in time, he's still in.
In the infield, you bat. Depending on where you hit the ball with your
bat, the ball flies in the direction. If you hit a homerun, you get an
an automatic score. The score you get depends on the amount of people
on the bases that are in your team. For example, if there are three
people on your team that are on the field (including the batter), and
you score a homerun, you automatically get three points. Despite what
I just said about the gameplay, the gameplay's not all interesting to
me. But I'm giving this game some slack due to technology not being as
great as today back then.
I give the gameplay: 9/10
Graphics:
The graphics aren't terrible, but not breathtaking either. But, it
wasn't the creators' fault. It was the technology back then.
I give the graphics: 9/10
Sound:
The sounds do get repetitive and I don't like any of them.
I give the sound: 0/10
Replayability:
It depends whether you like baseball or not. I don't so I would
probably not play it again. If you're a baseball fanatic, or an "old
school gamer", then you'll keep playing this game.
I give the replayability: 5/10
Challenge:
It's hardly challenging. But it sometimes does.
I give the challenge: 4/10
Value:
It's pretty much worth it if you like baseball or old games. To me
it's just like other ordinary NES games.
I give the value: 6/10
Overall:
This game's not as good as some other NES games I played. But buy
it if you want.
I give Baseball: 33/60
Conclusion:
And with that comes another review of mine, see ya later!
