  Game Name: Mega Man 3
System: NES
Genre: Action
Developer/Publisher: Capcom
Release Date: 1990
Players: 1

Introduction:

megaman's third adventure. lets see how it goes...

Story:

you know the story by now :P. take control of megaman, beat the robot masters, and take on dr. wily.

Gameplay:

this is a VERY WORTHY installment. eight new robots, complete with very interesting and unique weapons. also introduces RUSH the mechanical dog, who can give megaman an extra jump boost, help megaman fly through the sky as a jet, and even tackle the depths of water as a submarine. also for the very first time, megaman can slide! something that the two predeceasing games should have had. also after beating the first set of eight robot masters, you get treated to four more levels, each that have 2 of the megaman 2 robot masters, reincarnated into what seems some type of super robot. very fun and a nice addition.

I give the gameplay: 9/10

Graphics:

well, they are no less than what you would expect in a megaman game, although there are some bugs to go along with it. such as an unknown wavy line in the bottom right corner of the boss screen, or sprites becoming garbled piles of nothing. all in all, very nice graphics

I give the graphics: 8/10

Sound:

the sound is VERY GOOD. not as good as megaman 2, but certainly much better than megaman 1. the music has a good flow with its level, and the boss room music actually gets me hyper :P.

I give the sound: 8.5/10

Replayability:

replayability is average, but the reincarnated mm2 bosses give this game that little extra oomp for replayability

I give the replayability: 7.5/10

Challenge:

not very challenging.... until you get to the RE-MM2 masters. those levels offer a higher challenge than the first eight robot master levels.

I give the challenge: 7/10

Value:

the most common megaman nes game, certainly doesnt make it the worst. it is one of my favorites. expect to pay anywhere between $5-$20 for it, depending on where you buy it. definitely worth your money.

I give the value: 9/10

Overall:

i highly recommend this game. very fun for the price it goes for, and a must have for any nes player.

I give Megaman 3: 8/10
