  Game Name: Mega Man 5
System: NES
Genre: Action
Developer/Publisher: Capcom
Release Date: 1992
Players: 1

Introduction:

Mega Man's 5th journey, and a great one at that :D

well, the story takes an unexpected turn. or does it? Protoman has gone bezerk and has destroyed half the city. he has taken dr. Light captive, and Mega Man is left to rescue him, as well as the city!

Gameplay:

the gameplay in megaman 5 is strong. it has a few new things to offer, such as a reverse gravity level, low gravity level, and megaman even gets to drive some sort of boat :D. a very fun and worthy update of the series. (i should mention, that megaman seems to control a tad different than he normally does. maybe its just me?)

I give the gameplay: 8.5/10

Graphics:

the graphics are very clean and clear, just like the rest of the series. nothing worth mentioning that stands out, its just your typical megaman graphics

I give the graphics: 7/10

Sound:

the sound is very good. From the catchy opening tune, to stoneman's killer track. enough of the music is done right to keep you playing for a long time

I give the sound: 8/10

Replayability:

the replayability is great, though not as strong as some of the previous megaman games. you may replay it, just not as often as say megaman 2

I give the replayability: 6/10

Challenge:

the challenge isnt very high, but maybe i just have too much experience. its really hard for me to rate the challenge, but if i were to play this for the first time again i may have some difficulty in areas

I give the challenge: 6.5/10

Value:

the value is very high on this game. personally i think this one goes for the most, and i believe its the rarest in the nes series. if you find it for under $25, consider yourself lucky :P

I give the value: 8/10

Overall:

as i said before, megaman 5 is a great update to the well known series. with some of the new stuff mentioned as well as the new weapons and music, this game should keep you busy for a short time

I give Megaman: 8.5/10
