  Game Name: Mega Man 6
System: NES
Genre: Action
Developer/Publisher: Capcom
Release Date: 1993
Players: 1

Introduction:

Look, the final instalment to the NES megaman series. This was the first Megaman game I ever owned :P

Story:

The story in this game is a little different than the previous games. Again it introduces a new foe, Mr. X, but that's not where the change stops. Megaman 6 is all about the first Annual Robot Tournament, including robotic warriors from the USA, Canada, and Japan. Or is it? Short after you learn this was a scheme set up by Mr. X, just so he could get his hands on the most powerful robots. So once again, you know who is called to rescue the city...

Gameplay:

The gameplay is the same as every other megaman game. Not much more to say, other than Megaman's new RUSH attachments; The RUSH Jet attachment and the Megaman Power attachment, each of which you can figure out what they are for... but you have to play the game to see them in action

I give the gameplay: 8/10

Graphics:

They look good, good enough for a late release NES game (1994). The game doesn't suffer from any slowdown or scrambled graphics, or it was so minor that i just don't remember. either way... nice and colorful

I give the graphics: 7/10

Sound:

The sound is awesome, though the boss tunes aren't really catchy, making them slip my memory... great but not even close to megaman 2 or 4 :D.

I give the sound: 7/10

Replayability:

replayability is average, though a bit higher than normal. 4 of the robot master's levels have 2 exits, of which you'll need the jet or power attachment to access one. really adds to the replay :P

I give the replayability: 7.5/10

Challenge:

This game was challenging when I got it, since I was only 5. Now, however, it's much easier. Probably one of the easiest megaman games. But i'll let you decide :P

I give the challenge: 5.5/10

Value:

The value is up there. My mom bought this for me new for $60, and over the years that was money well spent. I encourage you to pick this up at a fair price. I wouldn't go over $30 for a loose cart though.

I give the value: 6/10

Overall:

Megaman 6 is a worthy game, and a great way to end the NES series. A must have for any NES gamer. I would also like to wish nintendocity a very happy 1 year anniversary, and give kudos to Joey for his hard work, and time he puts into the site. Good Job! :)

I give Megaman: 8/10
