Introduction:
This is a classic fighting SNES game that started out in arcades
and was very popular there so when ported to the SNES it did very
well.
Story:
You pick a character, go from country to country fighting other
characters, for what reason? I guess to show that you're the
strongest fighter in the world!
Gameplay:
The Gameplay is pretty great, The characters for the most part are
pretty varied, besides the obvious Ken & Ryu. Of course Ryu is
better, but they're pretty similar. Every character has their
strengths and weaknesses. Dhalsim's limbs stretch to unbelievable
lengths, E.Honda is big and fat and can move his hand very fast, Guile
can jump high, Blanka is a monster that can make himself be
electrical. I've been playing this game for years and it is still a
challenge to me. The multiplayer in this game is great, your friends
getting mad at you for continuously doing the same move is a great
feeling, but there's always a way around it so they should stop
complaining.
I give the gameplay: 8/10
Graphics:
The graphics are fairly good for a super nes game, the close up's
on the characters faces are very detailed and when in battle every
thing is pretty smooth, you get the idea of what every move is
supposed to be. Some of the close ups of the faces when the character
was beaten are pretty hilarious.
I give the graphics: 7/10
Sound:
The sound can be pretty annoying in this game, there's never any
changes in the noises when a move is executed, honestly these
characters probably have around 5 different sounds they make. The
music is alright though, it suits the gameplay.
I give the sound: 5/10
Replayability:
Since it's a game that you can put in anytime and play it, and
after it's been out for years and is still fun to play, the
replayability of this game is awesome. It's still fun to play with
your friends or by yourself. It can be repetitive at times, but so
can most fighting games.
I give the replayability: 9/10
Frustration:
The Challenge of this game is fairly easy, Aimed at younger kids i
think.
Conclusion:
This is a classic SNES game that every SNES owner should consider
buying.
