Cheats and Tips

Continue:
If you get a Game Over Screen, hold the A button. Then click start on the title screen, you will then start off on the 1st level of the world you were on.

Many, Many Lives and Points:
At the end of 3-1, there will be stairs with 2 Koopa Troopas coming down.
Jump jump over the first. Then get to the farthest right of a step as possible.
Then when the 2nd Koopa Troopa is coming down, jump and land on top of it.
The Koopa Troopa will go forward and bounce back, you will land on it again, it will then go forward and bounce back, and you will jump on it again.
This will go on and on. You will rack up points and lives.

Fireworks:
If you touch the flagpole at the end of each world when the last digit on your time is a 1, 3, or 6 you will get some Fireworks. The amount of fireworks shown is equal to the numbered digit.
You will also get 500 points for each firework.
